A note from Miss Patty

First and foremost, I would like to personally thank you for the continued support you have shown during this "new normal", it has definitely been an adjustment for all of us. I have faith we will get through this trying time and we will come out of this stronger and more united than ever before.

I wanted to provide an update on our current situation and let you know how we are planning for the future.

We are still proceeding with plan B; Running current schedule classes through the summer, July-August and planning some type of performance with costumes.
Fall Registration will be June 1st at 9:00am.

Fall Suggestions will be emailed the week of May 18-22.
Payment for May will not be automatic withdrawal. If you can make a payment, please go into your parent portal or email us your permission to withdraw. You can also mail a check to the dance studio at PO Box 1170, Forest Grove OR 97116. Thank you for continuing to support the work of the staff for the videos and activities.

From the bottom of my heart I thank you again for your continued patience and support. We look forward to personally seeing you when it is safe to reopen our doors and return to the scheduled dance season.

FGDA Covid-19 Closure

Dear FGDA Family,

Effective March 16, Forest Grove Dance Arts, will be closed through March 29, 2020 to help mitigate the community spread of COVID-19. We will be running classes Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14. Please do not come to class if you have a fever or are not feeling well.

While the studio and building will remain closed, our teachers are preparing private link YouTube videos for our students to dance from home. We also will be working to continue the necessary operations and plans for the coming events at the studio. Staff will be accessible by email and phone.

As a small business owner, I am doing my best to take care of my staff while we make this necessary closure. My intention is to continue to process payroll as if we are open. I appreciate your support and willingness to stick by us as we work through this together.

I am heartbroken to be in this situation and have to make this decision. Our dancers work so hard and look forward to their dance classes every week. My teachers, who chose this profession, because they and I truly love what we do. We will continue to monitor the advice and will implement best practices for our families.
