Kaylee Cottam

Ballet, Lyrical and Contemporary Instructor

Kaylee Cottam began her dancing career at Forest Grove Dance Arts at age nine. Starting with Lyrical Jazz in 2013 and Ballet in 2015, she is proudly beginning her 11th year of dance and continuing her second year of teaching. Throughout her time at Forest Grove Dance Arts, Kaylee has trained in many areas including Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary and Ballet and danced competitively from 2018 to 2020. She also began assistant teaching classes in 2017 and progressed to a Teacher in Training, learning alongside instructors since 2020.

She has had the honor of performing in many lead roles such as Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and Kitri in Don Quixote. Miss Kaylee has also received instruction at Brigham Young University under the direction of Ashlie Parov, Assistant Professor of Ballet.

Dance is one of the most important and inspiring aspects of Kaylee’s life and she is thrilled to be leading young dancers along their own journey through dance.
