Cassie Majewski
Tap Instructor
Cassie has been tap dancing since she could walk. She grew up in Pittsburgh and trained in a variety of different styles, but, as an instrumental musician, tap was always her favorite. She attended undergraduate school at Northwestern University in Chicago for Journalism and Global Health. While there, she worked closely under the mentorship of Billy Siegenfeld (creator, founder, and artistic director of Jump Rhythm Jazz Project). She has also trained with Jenai Cutcher, Caleb Teicher, Leo Lamontagne, TJ Yale, Mark Yonally, and Sterling Harris. While going to school, she has continued choreographing, teaching, and dancing tap, in competitive, social, collaborative, and concert styles. She has co-produced four tap shows, including the most previous, "Elevate."
